I’ve been living in New York for a year now, and I think I’m starting to get an edge. I look pretty fierce subway surfing with a pair of knitting needles in my hands and a coffee thermos shoved under my arm. Sadly, my skill level only allows for scarf projects, so I think my co-subway riders keep their fear and awe to a minimum.
